Coppercoast

There are several beaches in the coppercoast that are well worth a visit as well as the picnic and car parks inbetween the beaches well worth a visit.

garrus

Not far from Tramore quieter beach not as busy there is a narrow road down to the beach there is a carpark within walking distance of the beach. You can see wonderful views of the beach and surrounding scenery. You can walk the beach at low tide, or you can swim there is no lifeguard on duty at this beach

Kilfarassy

There is a laneway down to the beach with a carpark within walking distance of the popular beach. There is an island out in the middle of the sea which can be seen from the beach where wildlife nest on the island. When the tide is out you can walk the whole length of the beach beyond the beach but becarful as to not get caught by the tide coming in you can also swim on the beach there is no lifeguard on duty at this beach.

Annestown

Annestown beach is located on the Coppercoast road between Tramore and Dungarvan which has Fabolous views and it is not far from fenor. The beach is just before Annestown village where there is a carpark that is within walking distance of the beach where when at low tide you can explore the beach. It is also ideal for surfing when there are swells nor large waves. You can also go for a swim it is ideal for families to relax and enjoy as it is not as busy as other beaches.

Benvoy

Is located after Annestown about 1.2km it is worth a visit you have to keep your eyes open for the signpost as you could miss the turn off for the beach. It is a beach not many people know about the laneway to the beach is narrow at the bottom the laneway opens up and provides a small amount of parking.

Carpark

On the way to the carparks there are great views you can see on the way including boatstrand which has superb views of the ocean and cliffs. At the carparks you can have lunch and look at the views of the ocean or go for a walk.

Boatstrand

There is no carpark but you can park nearby it is a fishing port that has beaches nearby that you can go for a walk when the tide is out it has fabulous views of the cliffs and ocean.

Kilmurrin

Kilmurrin cove is a popular beach it has carparking spaces at both sides of the road. You can swim and surf here or go for a walk when the tide is out there is no lifeguard on duty here.

Tankardstown

These are old mines that used to be operated the ruins of these are all that remains there are brilliant views of the surrounding area,

Bunmahon

There are nice views on the way to bunmahon at the beach there is a small carpark within walking distance of the beach there is carparking spaces further away. There are lifeguards on duty here during the summer there is a walking path beside the beach and the beach is ideal for walking on the beach when the tide is out it is also good for swimming or walking when the tide is out.

Clonea

It is near Dungarvan there is a laneway going down to the beach which is narrow in parts there is a small carpark within walking distance of the beach ideal for swimming and relaxing you can also go for a walk it also has brilliant views of the surrounding area there is also a place for serving food and drink.
